Pennsylvania Association of Sustainable Agriculture
PASA is the largest statewide, member-based sustainable farming organization in the United States Pasa works to bring farmers together to learn from each other, and to build relationships between those farmers and consumers looking for fresh, wholesome, locally and sustainably produced food.
Greenhorns
The Greenhorns is a grassroots non-profit organization made up of young farmers and many collaborators. Their mission is to recruit, promote and support the new generation of young farmers in this ample and able 21st century America.
Stone Barns Center
The mission of Stone Barns Center is to create a healthy and sustainable food system that benefits us all. Located 25 miles north of Manhattan, Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit institution. They operate an 80-acre farm and work to increase public awareness of healthy, seasonal and sustainable food, train farmers in resilient, restorative farming techniques, educate children about the sources of their food, and prepare them to steward the land that provides it.
Farm Bureau
The mission of New York Farm Bureau is “To Serve And Strengthen Agriculture.” Farm Bureau is a non-governmental, volunteer organization financed and controlled by member families for the purpose of solving economic and public policy issues challenging the agricultural industry.
