Cornell DNS QUERY Service is not available off campus

This page is served to computers that attempt to query the Cornell DNS servers from off-campus. As of August 5, 2009, the Cornell DNS query service is only available to computers connected to Cornell Campus networks.

If you have hard-coded Cornell's DNS servers into your laptop or home computer you will need to adjust your DNS settings to either use your ISP's DNS service or a public DNS service. You will not be able go to other web sites until you fix your settings.

Windows XP / Windows Vista / Mac OS X v10.4 / Mac OS X v10.5

If you still see this page after adjusting your DNS settings, you may have to restart your browser, or as last resort, reboot your computer.

Note: If you have a local network in your house, you may need to check your cable modem settings.
